Heath Ritenour’s Positions of Service

In addition to serving as chairman and CEO of Insurance Office of America, Heath Ritenour has volunteered his time and expertise to helping advance institutions that impact central Florida. Here are some of the ways in which he has served and continues to serve the community he calls home.

President of the IOA Foundation

While the focus of The IOA Foundation is to enhance the prosperity of children from birth through college, under Heath’s guidance as president, the foundation’s reach has extended to include socially responsible charitable endeavors that support animal protection, education, entrepreneurship, financial empowerment, and literacy, health and wellness, mentoring, and social services. Such endeavors include the sponsorship of sports exhibitions such as:

  • The IOA Championship
  • The IOA Classic
  • The IOA Invitational

Cogent Bank Board Member

Each member of Cogent Bank’s board of directors is an experienced and well-respected business leader in the central Florida community. As a seasoned insurance industry professional, Heath lends his knowledge and unique skill set to the board of Cogent Bank in order to assist the state-chartered, full-service commercial and retail bank by providing sound input for their business strategy while also serving the community.

Heath Ritenour’s Past Positions of Service

Volunteering his leadership to a variety of industries, Heath formerly served on the board of the Arnold Palmer Medical Center Foundation and sat on the board of governors for the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce. He also spent time lending his experience to the following boards and foundations:

  • Advisory Board of Lifework Leadership Orlando – Heath was an advisor on impactful ways Lifework Leadership could embolden a new generation of purposeful central Florida leaders through the engaging and inspirational life and teachings of Christ.
  • Board Member of the Seminole County Public Schools Foundation – As vice president of development, Heath, along with fellow members of the executive committee, assisted in raising, securing, and distributing funds, in-kind donations, and private investments for initiatives that improved student achievement and created a brighter future for SCPS students.
  • The Foundation for Seminole State College Board Member – Heath’s leadership and time spent on the district board of trustees was instrumental in giving opportunities to students and changing lives at Seminole State College of Florida, one of the nation’s fastest-growing colleges.
